Editor Layout
Let’s get familiar with the iCraft editor layout!
When you enter the editor, you’ll see an intuitive and clean interface designed to help you focus on creation—without getting lost in complex menus. The entire editor is divided into five core functional areas:

Editing Area / Main Canvas (Position ①)
Function Overview
The Scene Editing Area is the primary workspace where you build and edit 3D scenes. All model placement, layout, routing, animation preview, and interaction debugging take place here.
It displays the scene’s real coordinates and grid system, supporting intuitive operations such as drag-and-drop, selection, scaling, and rotation.
Common Operations
Drag assets onto the canvas to place and combine them.
Select elements and drag directly on the canvas to adjust their position (with grid snapping support).
Use transformation controllers to quickly adjust position, scale, and rotation.
Use the mouse scroll wheel to zoom in/out.
Hold the right mouse button to pan the canvas.
Hold the middle mouse button or press
ALT + left mouseto freely rotate the view.
Top Navigation Bar (Position ②)
Function Overview
The top toolbar contains global commands and project-level operations, including: New / Open / Save, Undo / Redo, Preview / Presentation, Share & Export, Project Naming, and Quick Mode Switching.
It serves as a quick-access hub for commonly used global functions.
Common Operations
Project Management: Create new, open, save as, save online, export, or publish the current project.
Preview & Presentation: Switch to preview mode for immersive presentation or animation preview.
General Settings: Theme settings, view shortcuts, usage tips, and real-time help prompts.
Basic Editing: Select all, copy, paste, group, undo, redo, delete, clear scene, etc.
Layout & Animation: Quickly switch between Layout Mode and Animation Mode.
AI Quick Access: Experience AI Asset Recommendation and AI Rendering features.
Pen Tool: Switch to Pen Tool mode to draw custom polygons.
Resource Panel (Position ③)
Function Overview
The left-side Resource Panel includes:
System Components: Basic geometries, text, planes, lines, pipelines, lighting, etc.
Optional Domain Graphics: Officially preset 3D/2D resources for specific industries.
Public Assets: User-uploaded 3D resources from the public asset library.
Users can also upload their own local 3D models, images, and SVG files.
Common Operations
Search & Filter: Enter keywords in the search bar or use categories to quickly locate assets.
Asset Usage: Click or drag models/components onto the canvas to instantiate them.
Asset Management: Add uploaded personal assets or purchased public assets to “My Assets” for reuse.
Asset Import: Import local 3D models or 2D images/SVG files.
Properties Panel (Position ④)
Function Overview
The right-side Properties Panel is divided into two sections:
Upper Section – Scene Element List Panel: Displays all objects in the scene, including hierarchy, embedding information, and visibility controls.
Lower Section – Scene Properties / Element Properties Panel: Used to view and edit detailed parameters of the scene or the selected object.

Background editing
Grid settings

Ambient lighting
Skybox configuration
Post-processing effects and other global parameters
Element Properties Settings:
Position / rotation / scale
Shape settings
Color / material / stroke
Shadow settings

Custom fields and additional parameters
Camera Bar (Position ⑤)
Function Overview
The bottom Camera Bar allows you to switch view modes (3D / 2D), change camera perspectives (Orthographic / Perspective), toggle auto-rotation, and manage custom camera views.
It helps users quickly switch between editing and preview modes while controlling how the scene is displayed.
Common Operations
3D / 2D Toggle: Quickly switch between 3D view and 2D plane view (Shortcut:
V).Camera Type Toggle: Switch between Orthographic and Perspective views (Shortcut:
C).Auto Rotation: Enable or disable automatic scene rotation, with customizable speed.
Custom Camera Views: Create multiple camera key viewpoints. Click a viewpoint or use number shortcuts to quickly switch between saved camera positions.
